I'm not quite sure how to word this and make sense, so hopefully someone understands what I'm asking...
We use Lightroom for post process workflow with RAW filese and then export to 240dpi jpgs (quality 11). I now need some files downsized to 8x10s but at 300dpi. Can I batch the larger sized 240dpi JPGs I already have in Photoshop to a smaller dimension size but up resolution to 300dpi without any image quality loss?
The reason why I do not want to export again from Lightroom is because some of the files have had extra retouching in Photoshop which means I'd have to do those over again.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Guess I'll answer this..lol I did a test after downsizing dimensions but upsizing resolution and didn't notice difference on my home prints so guess it's okay.

every time you save a jpeg, whether you make changes to it or not, it loses quality. this quality loss may not be apparent right at first, but after a few saves you will start to see artifacting etc.
the best thing to do in this case is to make edits to original sized PSDs, then save resized JPEG copies in whatever size you need. if you want to do it the quick and dirty way, which you are in this case, and don't see any quality loss, then you're probably okay. doesn't mean it will work every time though...

Thanks for the input. They're only required to be printable for up to 5x7's so I'll send some of these 'quick & dirty' files out to the lab for test prints. The main problem is if I were to go back to original RAWs and save at 300, there would be quite a few I'd have to duplicate enhancements to in Photoshop. It's not for clients, but promotion so hopefully there won't be a noticeable difference.
