I have this series that I really like. I think they could end up being really cool but I'm not sure which way to go in PP. I've tried a few actions that look pretty cool (Totally Rad Cinnamon Toast w/ vignette and blur is my favorite so far) but none have turned out just right. Anybody want to play? BTW, these are straight from the camera and I'm a total newbie (3rd wedding)..okay, you've been warned smile.gif

Thanks

Its hard because you have 2 different colors of light in the shot....heres my take....good luck....adjustments made in Lightroom

Here's my play... Ran a chocolate b/w action, color balanced to add more "cinnamon" (red), burned the edges a little. smile.gif

I used TRA...Yin/Yang, Deblother, Prettyizer, and Boring Sepia. Not perfect, but I kinda like it.

....lol....thanks carrie....maybe its because I dont use presets!

here's my take...Pepper Nix from Brody's actions to color correct a bit, Very Vintage action from Ali's Vintage actions, then a shadow/highlight adjustment to bring down the hot parts of the dress. It's a little flat but....meh.

Thanks guys!! They look great and I really appreciate your work! You gave me some great ideas and I've been playing on my own. Here's another from the series. I did a bw conversion, Cinn. Toast and Vignette & Blur...what do you think? I'm torn between this and a simple b&w.

Thanks!
