Luke and I are finally gonna get an intern around here to help with the office.
Does anybody have any advice or maybe an internship proposal I can look at?

I have to draft one up and give it to the prospect internship tomorrow.
She is our babysitter that is really wanting to get into photography. She is 16 and we thinking about having her work like 5 hours a week or so after school.
TIA!

I had one last year. She was a jr. in high school. I didn't have a proposal, as it was through her high school class. It was great though she did anything I wanted, errands, organizing my cds/dvds, filing, etc.

Good luck. I'd take her if I was you. You guys can focus on other business issues & let her do mainly office type stuff work.

Hi Alisha,

Sorry, I haven't been as attentive on OSP as I have been.

I had an intern from Webster last summer. It was part of their college credit to do an intership during their final senior semester. I took her on weddings, as an intern not a second shooter, she worked in the studio doing some image management, but she did a lot of admistrative stuff too. It was explained to her that shooting is not the only part of being a photographer - that there is soooo much more that goes on both pre and post shoot.

I'd love to have another one!

I have an intern from a local college. He's a very nice kid, and he seems to be learning a lot. We don't have any sort of proposal worked up, so we're just kinda taking things on a weekly basis, but being sure to fulfill the hours that he needs for his internship credit.
