Looking to buy a Canon 20d or 30d body. I want to upgrade from the DRebel, but looking to save a few bucks by buying a used camera (need the extra $$ for lenses ). Camera must be in good working condition with no scratches on lcd panel--other minor dings/dents o.k. Do you think the 40D is worth the extra bucks it's going to cost me??? For lenses I only have the Canon 28-135 IS 3.5 and an 85 1.8. My thinking was save some $$ on the body and invest in another lens. I have around $1600 to work with. Whatcha think???

No way. Lenses last forever--the body will be out of date in 6 months. Get a used 70-200 f2.8L and a used 20D and you'll be good.
