DPP 2.0 is out. It ships with the 5D and Mark IIn, but I'm sure it's available for free download from Canon's site as well.
It's a major upgrade with a bunch of new features. It allows you to "mark" images (basically like flagging them to find later), also has sharpness and saturation controls in the tool palate as well as the new "picture styles" which I'm not sure how useful they'll be. I think I'm just not quite used to them yet, but as I fool around with them more they may gain usefulness.
I'm not sure if this is actually the case, but it seemed like it loaded the thumbnails even faster than it did in the past which is pretty awesome since they already loaded pretty fast on the old version.
Any Canon shooters who are frustrated with how slow CS2 runs should give DPP 2.0 a try.

DPP 2.0 is not on any of the Canon sites just yet. However, someone on DPR put up a copy for download.
I'll give it a try on this last wedding I did. I'd like to see the improvements.

Let me know what you think! I really haven't "used" it yet. Just glanced at it and it seemed good!
