I've had my website (www.jennifermcnulty.com) for almost year. I have been hosting it through GoDaddy.com using a template from BigFolio.com.

I set up a new account and domain with DreamHost yesterday for my new domain, www.vansuydam.com.

I pointed the name servers to my BigFolio template as I was instructed to do by Jeff Caston of BigFolio.

DNS1.TEXTDRIVE.COM
DNS2.TEXTDRIVE.COM
DNS3.TEXTDRIVE.COM
DNS4.TEXTDRIVE.COM

I cannot figure out why my website at jennifermcnulty.com is not showing up at vansuydam.com. Instead, somebody else's photography site is up there. Why is that happening?

Oh, and should I have not put the name servers in this post?

I want to get this fixed ASAP because we're setting up a photo display at our chamber of commerce, and we're unveiling our new name/website and everyting! sad.gif

I'd bet it's something on the BF side. Your new domain is likely pointing to their server but they may have the requests pointing to someone else's site!

I'd contact BF and work backwards from there!

Edit: This is just a guess, btw.

It also sometimes takes up to 24 hours for new nameservers to propagate over.

Ouu, interesting point, Damon. Thanks! I'm going to send them an IM in a second. smile.gif

Thanks for your input, too, Karen!

What Karen said - it takes 24-72 hrs for a new nameserver to prop usually. Quicker if you're on GoDaddy or a huge host but usually that's the expected timeline.
