I tried to order 2 DVD's- took all information- said processing error contact your photographer Help! I assume because I was on Michael and Caryn DVD that was the one I ordered!

So, I am not sure what to do. I went back to look and see if I forgot to include the purchase DVD option, but cannot get to the begining screen.

How do I find out why she is getting the error and what I can do to correct it?

Thanks! smile.gif

Hey Tawnya:

I'd try emailing the ShowIt DVD customer service directly...they are helpful & prompt!

Thanks- I did that- they were helpful, but the error message came up 3 more times (according to my client) so, now I lose out on the profit of 2 DVD sales sad.gif Bummer for me! I got an email from the mother of the groom and she said at this point, she no longer wants to order the DVDs. sad.gif

Hey Tawnya, I'm sorry your client had trouble and yes it's best to contact Showit Support on technical issues like this and be sure to include a link to your show so people can help you trouble shoot it.

Typically when there is an error in processing it's because either the show was missing a "Show Title" or there were certain invalid characters in the shows title but again contact support and I'm sure she still wants a DVD.

Thanks guys! I did contact support and I was told that it was more likely than not an entry error (ie wrong credit card number or something) So I forwarded the email to my client so that she could see it. She said she treid 3 more times, but she has decided not to order them now. It is ok- but I still would like to know what the error was. I did contact support a second time, but at that point, the client had already decided against it. Maybe I will have to run through the ordering process to see if I encounter a problem.

Also, DJ- not sure if this has been mentioned, but is there a way to have 2 different pricing structures set-up. For example, I would like to offer my wedding DVD's (that typically have more images and more time put into it) and my portrait DVD's at two prices. Is there any chance of having a place in our account info where we set a price for two separate types of DVD's and then when we are creating the DVD slideshow have a box that says include option to buy; "portrait DVD" (thus defaulting to the portrait price) or "wedding DVD" thus defaulting to the wedding DVD price) ? Do you follow? Just a thought smile.gif

You bet smile.gif ...You can offer a unique price for every single slideshow.
