Ok, I'm in a bit of a quandry. It is probably something simple that I am missing but I'm getting confused and frusterated!

I had a desktop /windows based that I was working with and putting up all of my slideshows on. Then I got a macbook pro a few weeks ago. I've downloaded ShowIt on my mac and I've created a slideshow but I'm having a terrible time trying to upload it to my website. I don't have an FTP on my mac yet but I've created the slideshow on the mac, now I want to transfer it to my old pc so that I can upload it to my website. I tried downloading a FTP on my mac (smart ftp, cyberduck but when I upload to them it isn't showing on my site) and rather than hassle with it, I want to just get the slideshow to my desktop where I know it will work ( I use Core Ftp there)! I wish there was a way that Show It knew what I created based on a log in or something , and would have it on memory and it would come up, no matter what computer I was on!

OK, just transfer the showit directory that you would normally ftp to your desktop, either by using a CD/DVD or even put it on a CF card or thumb drive. Then you can FTP it from the desktop as usual. The files that showit makes are the same from Windows to Mac (I think) so the software on your PC should be able to open and modify it as well, but either way it'll work to FTP it...

For FTP on the Mac I use Fetch. It's simple and rock solid.

Hope that helps...

Hey Bill, That DOES help. Thanks. I tried burning the Show It folder to a dvd on my mac, but for some reason can't get it to burn. I will play around wit it. My mac is just a few weeks old and I love it but I'm totally working with the learning curve!

Thanks again for your help, I really appreciate it!!
