It's late, and I was just importing my photos in to LR and came across a couple of the 2000 images that my wife and I shot, and wanted to share. We had a great time meeting everyone today. A big thanks to Andrew and his wife, for getting this together, and to the models who did a fabulous job. I can't wait to go through and edit these. Thanks again everyone that put in the work to get this off the ground. For all those interested, these were shot with the D2x off camera flash, iso 100,f9.0 at 1/200.

Great shots! Can't believe you had some time to edit and post already...I'm sooo tired! Got home last night and imported all my shots and started editing..couldn't stop until about 1:30 am. But I didn't get any ready to post yet, it's going to take some time I think, I'm sooo sloooooow!

A huge thanks to Andrew and Jessica and to all the awesome models who did everything we asked and more. It was great to meet some new people from the area as well and hope to see you all in the future.

Oh, and I'm still full from all the pasta and salad! Good thing I took home leftovers as well!

Oh I didn't edit them. I only got through half of them. Just looking at them, and came across these. Just wanted to tweak them in LR, like how they turned out and those are the only ones I have seen. Going to PM you on the link we talked about.

I hate photobucket. They are blocked here at work! Oh well. Had a good time yesterday. Thanks again to Andrew and Jessica and everyone else that helped make this happen. I downloaded my pictures last night but only had a few minutes to look at them. It was after 11 before I got back down here to the Springs and had to get up early.

The 100mm macro performed pretty well. May have to soften some of the pictures it took, they're a little too sharp! Didn't think that was possible. Dinner was great. Parking sucked!!! I have to remember to send off my parking ticket so it doesn't double in price! :-( Hope to see you all again soon.

Hey Jeff, just remember...OVERPAY! Good luck with that! I didn't end up getting a ticket afterall...even though I was overparked by almost 25 mins!!! ooooo scary!

I resolve to get down to Denver more often from now on. As beautiful as Boulder is, sometimes you just need a change and last night was the perfect night for being down there...as long as I can find parking within a mile of wherever I need to be.

If anyone's up for some street shooting/beers/wine (not neccesarily in that order) down there let me know!

Hey Greg, Jess (KBphoto) and I were talking about ways to do a drink some beer, shoot some photos, drink some beer kind of day. It ended up involving a uhaul, free couches from craigslist and some coolers of beer... or at least thats the event we cooked up in our heads!

Yea I know Paige and I talked about getting together for coffee and talking about children's photography soon... So that will probably be the next get together... most likely a smaller group though.

I'm so sorry I couldn't stay for dinner. (Al was great though!) I'm so supposed to be working right now but thought y'all might enjoy shots of yourselves. Our own little how many photographers does it take to trash a dress...

Paige those are some great shots of all of us. Thanks to everyone who came out and really made this day happen, I think getting together is so important for our photo community here in Denver and I look forward to many more of these. I will be sending out an e-mail today with addresses and everyone's information.

So far everyone has some great shots, I love seeing different takes on the same shot. There are some extremely talented people in our area and I am so excited about the future for us.

Ok, so I finally had some time to look at a few shots, so here they are. I've been really into the lens flare lately, reminds me of California in the 70's when I was growing up.And just a few more, can't figure out how to post them larger so these will have to do.

I liked the first one a lot, it has a super dreamy feel. I also had a lens flare party with myself on Tuesday... I'm glad I'm not alone

Love the flare, if you can nail a flare shot, you did it, thats awesome. I need to work on my flare. Thanks for sharing.

Scott, nice stuff! Yeah, I have quite a few flare shots too. I think the light was just begging for it! I get so excited to see everyone's stuff, maybe eventually I'll get to look at my own! We are leaving for hawaii on tuesday night and I just have so much to get done before we go that my hubby will kill me if I'm playing with ttd photos! Crystal and I decided that can be what occupies me on the long plane ride, playing with photos.

One thing I found out is the 100mm has a little problem handling flare. Anyways, here's another I thought I'd share with everyone. Blew the dress slightly but I was shooting all manual, oh well.
