So here are the slideshow pics from Sunday's shoot. Our friends who have been married for a year and a half agreed to do something different and fun...can you believe they are not models? Also, the bride didn't have a full bridal portrait, so this is how the idea came about. They rocked! We shot all around Winter Park and in a restaurant we had access to called Urban Flats. They were great sports about it being EARLY, 6am:)

Great job Garrett! I never would have thought of shooting in a restaurant like that. Did you know the owner?

Great job bringing a different look to the session Garrett! My favorite is the horizontal shot of the bride standing by herself in front of the wall!

Garrett,

Nice work. I really dig the shots of the bride by the bench and in the door frame with the white brick wall.

Did you have to pose them much, or were they pretty natural?

Garrett those are cool. I really like the restuarant idea. I really liked several of those.

I did some portraits of two sisters in a restuarant downtown here. It seemed that the owner was flattered that we thought the place was so cool that we wanted pictures there.

Thanks, guys for the good feedback. Yea, it was a fun shoot, especially with them being friends of ours. We had a make-up artist too. The groom wasn't really excited about wearing powder and lip gloss, but he got over it when he saw the images.

For non-models they posed well. Not much direction needed, just a few suggestions now and then. The bride has been watching our work and style develop over the past year and she's such a fan. She said, "I'll do anything you want, just tell me." It's fun to have "models" like that. smile.gif

Very nice Garret, none of the images are boring, you sure know how to pose there hands and arms.
I also liked the tilted angles from the camera it gives them a better view.
Congrats.
