Looking to buy some seamless paper and some stands. Any advise? Thanks!!

I have the bogen wall-mount roller system... it's soooo nice! Holds 3 seamless papers on rollers mounted on brackets. Easy to swap out papers, and very clean (no floor stands to get in the way or fall over!)

I bought these Amvona (generic) stands on ebay. Only single roll, but it was so cheap. The quality is really good, too. Got it for about $50 with a carry bag. It's worked wonders for me so far:

+1 LOVE THEM!

I actually mount mine to my ceeling. I have bike hooks screwed in the ceeling, with a piece of conduit pipe to put the roll on. The bike hooks hook the conduit. Works great, and it is cheep!

PS guys, heres an image of my studio with the roller mounts...

What would be a good paper to start with? Any suggestions with brand, color, Length, and where to buy? Any tips would be helpful!!! Thanks

Yes, that is not quite ideal. I stand on a step stool and roll them up and down by hand. I am actually quite fast at it. The funny thing is that when I first started doing this, my muscles on my forearms started getting sore from it! Now they are used to it.

The paper b and h sells is nice (Salvage I think?), but shipping is pricey. It is something like $25 to ship it. (Can't remember the exact cost.) I usually buy mine at my local camera store, just so I don't have to pay shipping. I don't remember what kind my camera store sells. As far as color goes, that is a personal preferance. I have a navy blue and a white. I don't use the blue too often, but I use the white for high key on almost every customer.

If you are a NAPP member you get free shipping from B&H. That's where I buy all my paper. Love that it comes to my front door and I dont have to do any run around for it. Only need to take it from my house to my studio.
I just got the same kind of wall system as Meek's. I got mine at Amvona and it is great. No more crinkled paper, when trying to do it my self.

i buy all my paper from a local shop - its like 40 bucks a roll for 9ft wide rolls :-)
