I have two of those on backorder. They should be in sometime in late January/ February. I ordered two of the male version. My wife says its overkill. My thought is that if one is good, two will be great.

I have one too except mine is three years old now. My version goes into nap mode between 1:00 and 3:00pm everyday which is a nice feature, haha.

these are great for getting the ear wax that you didn't know you had. they smell funny though....so light some incense when you burn these. great to have in the office for when you're tired of staring at the screen.

I wish I had a picture of my cat that constantly gets on my keyboard and tries to e-mail my clients. I just don't think they'de find an e-mail that consisted of "dsfsdfasdf.....^^^^^^^^^^^&" very professional at all.

In other news, I'll get one of those come March...just a whole lot younger, and it'll probably cry a lot and make me wish I was sleeping now.

I have three of those, but only one functions similar to yours. Mine grabs the iMac remote and loves to push the buttons while I am trying to work. He also is fond of grabbing the mouse and clicking on Photobooth while I am working. My model loves to be on my lap, especially when I am frantically trying to finish something. I am lucky like Jeannette, mine goes into sleep mode from around 1:00 until 3:00 and again at 8:00 pm. It is a great desk accessory.

My version is is the M/F model and is just over 2 1/2 years old now. They still work great, but I can't get them into sleep mode during the day. What's cool is that somehow having two of the same model makes you feel like you have three or four.

I think you can but good luck getting it back into the container it was shipped in. I think they expand or something when you take them out.

I did see this video on you tube about a problem with the units though. For some reason, they tend to seize up and make this bizarre sound under certain circumstances but no one seems to be able to anticipate the conditions in which the sound will appear. It's not unpleasant...in fact it's quite a tantalizing sound, but when it's happening, it appears impossible to ignore the sound. Incredible stuff.

Unit Warning

They've not found any completely effective firmware update to address it. However, it seems that if the waste disposal sleeve gets filled from either the solid waste receptacle or the liquid release valve the aofrementioned sounds stop for a little while. Apparently, if you don't attend to the disposal sleeve posthaste, it begins to emit a warning klaxon. It's pretty intense.
