Awesome blog and website, looks like you did get the textures- worth the money? did you find a code?
Lindsey Marie
I loved his look too but realized you can find some amazing textures right on the internet for download that are awesome to work with!
Amy Clark
I'll ditto that Lindsey. I love Josh's textures, but he also inspired me to start photographing some of my own. Fun to do on a quiet afternoon -- yea, I'm kind of a nerd who gets excited about that stuff.

ME TOOO!!!!! hahahahah I've become a big nerd! When my fiance asks me if I did the laundry when he gets home, I'm like, "No, But I blogged!!!!" He gets really mad at my amount of time blogging and computing! smile.gif

Lindsey, you and me really do drink the same northwoods water biggrin.gif
Lindsey Marie

Thanks, Steve! I didn't know about this site. Great resource!

HEy Sarah!
i just drag one on to my image, play with opacity and the blending modes in the layers pallette, usually on overlay! just experiment with them and have fun..
Sarah Crowder
Ok- so I gave it a try, downloaded a rusty image from textureking. then I placed it over my image, resized it, then I set the texture layer to overlay. Then I messed with the opacity and the color a bit, then did a layer mask to keep the skin cleanTexture Photo.. What do you think?

Lindsey Marie
Hey Sarah!
Coolness! i would bring out even more texture.. don't be Afraid! Embrace the texture! hahahah

there's some i did on my blog of "Bretty" that have some texture! Isn't it fun?
haha
AZJamie
I love it! I would have never thought of putting texture on a child, but it works and gives it a richness.

Thanks! I'm having a blast with textures! But the color is sometimes weird, if I don't want the texture on the face... I'll have to play some more! Thank you all for your help!
oh- and the Bretty photo between the two cars- Awesome! That coat was awesome for texture!

Very cool!!!!! Off to try it myself!!
Lindsey Marie
Hey Sarah!~ you may already know this but if you don't want texture in certain areas create a mask on the texture layer and brush away! WOOHOO!!
