bwahahahah!!! it would say "achieve low noise levels at ISOs above 400..."

humm and the 5D does have spot metering. so do canon 1D series cameras... always have.
Ross
Ha ha, i just saw that and couldnt help but laugh.

Surely you would expect something like 52 performance or productive apps for windows, but it seems every issue of any pc mag has one of the 3 head stories to have something about viruses!

im just glad i use mac+linux smile.gif
MeeksDigital
jackson.gif clap.gif for mac! never used lynux though... it will run on one of my old PCs right?

Mac is the best, linux is useful for programming and testing as its based on unix. Yeah linux will run on any old pc, however the newer versions do require some specs + no windows smile.gif
MeeksDigital
yeah, i have a few PCs that are sitting in storage. always wanted to tool around with lynux. i'm all mac now of course, got 4 of them here in the studio and loving every minute of it.

Yeah pcs are used for storage, i use my pc several times as there are times that the program you need just isnt on mac!

if you ever tool around with lynux, give me a shout and i can run you through the setup even though its pretty straight forward.
MeeksDigital
i have never had a time that i needed my PC for something that i couldn't do on my mac... but lets not get into that discussion here lol.

i'll let you know about the lynux thing... i may play with it eventually.
Ross
3d Max, adobe encore. thats all lol. and you cna sue the same but cinema 4d and i think encore is out for mac now! o and microsoft project! its the daddy of management software for web design industry anyway it works a treat.

o and when you do get those pcs out, remember to dust them first! laugh.gif
MeeksDigital
tell me about dust man. they are sitting in my barn, probably FULL of dust.

i've had my G5 for a year, and i just opened it up for the first time since i put my new RAM in and it was CLEAN!!!! a thin layer of dust on the horizontal surfaces inside the frame, but nothing else. niiiiice!

oh, and i don't use any of those programs so i wouldnt know... haha.
Ross
Ha ha totally. Yeah my pc sucks dust in - if it was portable id use it as a vacuum! lol. personally i dont think an imac or macbook pro can collect dust! only problem is that macbooks get shabby quickly!

I want a g5 - but they cost a bomb here! so i use my macbook pro and have hard drives in a server tower and use that like a 1tb g5 smile.gif lol.

give the pcs to charity if your not using them! they are always looking for computers!
