Hey everybody, if you don't have a counter on your website go get one. They're sick. Go to Stat Counter where you can get a sick free one, or you can upgrade and pay. We just got the free one for now, but it's very customizeable, you can make it invisible if you want. And it tells you how many hits you get, where they're located in the world, how long they stayed on, what pages they went to, where they linked to you from, what browser they used, their screen resolution, what search engine they used and the keywords they typed in, etc... you get the point. We found out that we get many more hits per day than we thought, and they come from all over the country, even international. Pretty crazy.
Then I thought, I want to give these peeps a chance to talk to me right away without having to pay long distance or int.l calling rates. So we added this chat program from Web Site Alive. They also have both free and paid versions. It dings to let you know when someone is on your website and it tells people on your site whether you are online or not, and they can open up a chat dialogue with you if they want. VERY cool.
