I am considering writting a script (standalone and showit effects add on) to do some cross processing effects. I played around with a few tonight, and found 3 that I think I like. Here are some examples of them.

I am not certain if any of them are worthy of creating a script for however. Anyone have any opinions about them?

I would like #3 with a little boost in contrast.

I like #2. The problem i have with cross processing is that it's sometimes too much. I always have to turn it down a bit in my layers.

Brady, thanks for the idea of giving the contast a bump. Very sweet. Here is what it looks like:

Alisha, how do you turn it down, reduce the opacity of the layer?

We are working on a few new cross processing effects as well. Some variations on the current effect and maybe some more.

Ok, version 1 of my cross processing type effect script is ready. It only works in showit. I don't have a standalone version and I don't plan on making one -- unless a bunch of people request it.

Enjoy.

P.S. It also currently has a few resizings in it. I will probably pull them out at some future date when I create another effect that is a more suitable place for resizing actions.

Jim -

Good thinking on just loading the acv files for each effect. I usually program the curves in. Your way is much easier. thumbsup.gif

Thanks! Don't know if it is easier, but it sure makes the code smaller and more readable. The scripting listener stuff is pretty cryptic. wacko.gif
