Hello, all! I've been out of town on vacation for the past week, but wanted to get up final information for the shoot on the 30th.

Location Directions: South on I-75, exit 11 (just south of Valdosta). Turn right when getting off exit. Go through Clyattville (past the factory and elementary school). You'll come upon a bridge with a SMALL sign that reads for a boat ramp. The drive is just before the bridge, on the right side. If you go across the bridge and come to Florida, you've gone too far! I'll do my best to create a little sign to show you where to turn.

Timing of the Shoot: 11:30 projected start time. I plan to be there with my models (two) around 11:00 or so to make sure everything is a "go". So, if some of you get there early, you won't be the only ones.

Things to Bring: Cameras, models (if you're bringing them), and a readiness for fun. The models I've secured are up for about anything, short of swimming underwater.

Plans for After the Shoot: Last time we "chatted" everyone was in agreement to find some place to eat afterward. We can certainly head back to town for that.

Limitations of the Location: No bathrooms. But plenty of shade (to avoid heat stroke). I'll be stopping by Sam's the day before to pick up some bottled waters and will put them in a cooler of ice for decent hydration!

Confirmed Photographers: Me, Jill, Tony, Lauren W, Michelle, Kaitlin (I think), and two other photographers that aren't OSPers but who are local.


If there is anything else that anyone has a question about, please let me know. We've got two weeks before the event to tie up loose ends. Hopefully Kaitlin can bring a model, and if anyone else confirmed has anyone in mind, bring them too. (They don't have to just wear a wedding dress).

Five more days and counting. If you've confirmed with me that you will be attending, great! We'll see you there. If you haven't confirmed, please do so as soon as possible!!

Ahh! Sorry - no luck on models. I will double check to make sure, but everyone seemed to back out when I talked to them last week

Kelly, one other reminder for everyone - be sure you bring model releases for all of the models.

My cooler is ready for Sunday. I've got bottled water and sodas.

I just checked the Weather Channel, and the projected forecast has things cool (high of 83) on Sunday - so it should be really nice.

Then I suggest girding thy loins, and getting thee forthwith to the PPA website and download the free one! If you're not a member of the PPA, then there are plenty of generic ones available on the 'net.

The PPA version has been vetted by lawyers though...

Even though I had to bail early to go to another shoot, I wanted to thank Kelly for organizing this.

I have no idea what happened after I left, but some cool images were secured before that, and Kelly was wounded in the line of duty!

It was great meeting everyone, and the models were all a blast to work with. I look forward to seeing some of the cool images everyone snagged.

Hey Tony,

Well...we were at the redneck river capital of the world. Actually - that might be the river access by Troupeville. Let's just say we made our way through the woods, past the moldy mattresses, condoms, and beer bottles to the mecca of rope swinging. Even one photographer went swinging in!

Wish I could've made it, sounds like it was a lot of fun...can't wait to see some shots!

The shoot was amazing! Tony, even though you left early, I'm glad you and your wife (Lisa, right?) came! I think I speak for everyone when I say that it was a wonderful experience!
I quickly edited a few pictures and put them on my blog for anyone interested. It might take me a while to get through them all, but I couldn't help but get a few up there.
