I've burned a couple CDs and all the folders that are in the Burn Folder are not getting burned to the CD...only some of the folders?

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Make sure there aren't any spaces in the folder or file names. CD formatting/file structure doesn't handle that well.

If that's not it, then what OS and software are you using?

Erin did you figure this out? I'm not sure what the problem is, I do the same thing you're doing all the time with both CDs and DVDs coming from an external drive. The only time I've had trouble was due to spaces in names.

For all the reasons I love my Mac, I just can't stand the OS disc burning system. I've botched things more than I care to remember.

Do yourself a favor... get Toast! Yes, it costs 80 bucks, but it's so worth it and it eliminates my favorite question from Windows users:

"Why is there a duplicate file of everything on here???"

This might be silly, but I always copy and paste my folders into the burn folder instead of dragging. Most often when you click and drag you are just creating shortcuts to burn not copying the original files. It should take at least a minute to copy the files over to the cd before even burning. Probably silly, but just a suggestion.

I have not had problems with my mac and spaces in my filenames either, though I know that can be a huge problem on a PC.
