Thanks Steve. thumbsup.gif I'll give it a try and let you know what I think. At first glance, Mr. Perfect is pretty nice and the teeth whitener is truly easy.

Easy is good.

Thanks! I'm an action junkie smile.gif

I agree that Mr. Perfect is really nice. I also like the fuzz. I don't really understand sin city yet--it looked funny on the first pic I tried it on. I'd love to see some other examples with that action. Is it for selective color?

This is so much fun to see folks giving these a try... Thanks for being some of the first!!!

Yep Sin City is a selective color action but I also think it works well just on it's own as a cool black and white action. Some adjusting may be done to the "Glow" layer to give in more a toned down look.

is there a place to see examples???

This looks like it's going to be awesome, Steve!

Question: I signed up around 6ish today and haven't gotten an email or anything... just wait or re-try? Just asking because I don't want to miss the beta spots if I messed it up somehow!

Thanks,

Thank you for sharing, and glad to be of service! smile.gif It makes sense now; I've tried it on a few more pics. I think what threw me at first were the instructions that said to paint back in the flesh tone, I glossed over the color part the first time.

gimme a minute and i'll post some examples.

Here's a few:

This one has Mr. Perfect (Ms. in this case smile.gif ) on top of the lomo

And this one has Transformers

Silly shots of my new haircut smile.gif

PS--These are real quickies. They might not represent very well--I'm sure they could be played around with a lot more!
Elena
I like Mr. Perfect, Teech Bleaching and Vignette (especially running this one a couple of times on a picture) already. I will be playing with others, but I see a lot of fun possibilities already.

Thanks.

Thanks Steve,
Have a pretty large collection of actions including my own... will let you know how you compare to the competition...

OK,
So far... I have most of Kubota, Jeff and Julia Woods, DJs of course, and a few others. I have to say that Lomo color plus pop, Teeth Bleeching, Fire, Sin City, and Mr. Perfect ROCK! However the others are a bit week and need something else. Heavenly, and Transformers, blow out almost every time. Sharp doesn't do much, and the Lomo vignette is not enough of a statement. I am getting mostly vignette and no lomo. The fuzz is just not enough for me after working with other peoples glow. Anyway, that is my 2 cents. Best to you, looking forward to seeing more.

So far I'm loving them!! although.... are there any instructions? I'm a bit confused bya couple of them. Teeth bleaching asks me to paint, but when I do, nothing happens. and the Rockwell one doesn't seem to "finish" it asks for a horizontal image, then "selects" it..... but not further prompts.

Steve,
Hey man these have some pretty saweet actions man. I'm with the majority on Mr. Perfect. That one just rocks man. Teeth bleaching is a very "clean" action for sure and I persoanlly like Super Fuzz. That one just makes things nice and easy.

This of course doesn't mean I don't like the rest. With layers and actions it so nice to be able to customize or use more than one to achieve the desired look each individual wants.

Thanks again for letting me be one of your beta testers.

There should be a "readme" file that came with the action set that will help with download and loading of the actions...

When using the" teeth bleaching" action be sure to be on your background image. It's a subtle action so you might not notice with one use.. If you need a stronger feel run the action again after you have painted in your teeth and flatten or merge your image layers.

I'm not sure what the "Rockwell" action is...that shouldn't part of my set.

Soooo Cool.. that's that type of input I 'm looking for!
thanks for testing them out... I'm only going to have these actions online for a few more hours... I have gone over 100 more testers then I had originally planed for so I'm going to stop taking testers after tonight.

Thanks to everyone that has joined the beta testing team!
I will be adding a PRO ACTIONS lab to the site www.getproactions.com so that folks can share actions and have a chance to win 300.00plus have their action included in the first version of PRO ACTIONS v1 coming out later this year!

Yeah...I agree!
I use actions quite extensively in my workflow so it would have been nice to have been able to give back with some feedback.

Oh well, I guess if the results have been good from the other testers, I really can't complain.
Elena
I was processing a wedding this weekend. I used LOMO Color Bust for outside photos quite a bit. Really liked it, except that it made skin tone TOO red. I just painted some of it off in color mask. The Teeth Bleeching came in handy more than a few times too.
