Just thought I'd say hello and step out of my lurker shadows! I've never posted, but I come here often & have learned so much from this community already. So I thought it was time I say hi. I'm a 28 year old photographer from Southern Indiana (and a mom, and a in 33 days, a wife!!).

Although not new to photography in general, I am to the business side of it. I've been an admin. asst. in the corporate world for the last 9 years and about a year ago made a decision to follow my dreams & do what I love for a living...and here I am!

It seems like I eat, sleep (in very tiny increments) & breathe getting my business up and going, but I'm loving every single second of following my bliss...finally!

So just wanted to say hey & I look forward to being a part of this amazing & crazy talented community.

Wow, thanks for the warm welcome & invite to hang out. I'd love to come up for a PUG mtg. I'll keep an eye out for the next one (I'm still at the day job until 9/18, after that I'll have much more flexibility in my days!).

As for my own wedding photographer, we actually have a special one My dad is a commercial photographer for a trade magazine (explains my love for the art) and he will be doing it. Which meant the world to him, and us, of course. Couldn't have it any other way

Hey, maybe we're distant cousins ...my Grandpa is a Daugherty and lives in Jeffersonville, Indiana (not sure exactly how far from Mitchell). Except he grew up in Ohio! But you certainly don't see that last name too often.

You better make sure that he gets out from behind the camera once in a while so that you can get pictures of the two of you together!!!!

I'm trying to picture how the whole walking down the aisle thing would work.... hmmm...
