Here are my two babies Riley (white) and Madeleine (fawny). Riley is deaf as a stone. They are best friends and pretty much the sweetest things. My clients LOVE them.

Aww, I really want a dog!! Someday...

Til then, I'm just a cat lady... Here's Scrat (or Scritty) - named after that weird lookin thing on Ice Age, because her tail gets absolutely huuuge when she's running around. Rescued from the mean streets as a kitten, now she's pretty well spoiled.





But I get my puppy fix when I visit my dad, here's his dog Porter -

Ryan, I'm sat here aaaaaaawwwwww-ing out loud & smiling like a cheshire cat! They are gorgeous & it's not everyday you see a white boxer! They have the cutest sad, red eyes that stand out so much more because of their color! I want to meet your dogs!!!

My boxer, Tyson, is coming up to ten years old & his age is really starting to take its toll... I don't think he has a whole lot longer left and it makes me incredibly sad










Funny how people tend to be either cat or dog people. Black cats (like yours - she's gorgeous!) & tabbies are my faves although if I had to choose there would be no doubt, I'd get a dog!

This is my man and Alma, she is a Puli a type of Hungarian sheep dog.


This was our Christmas card one year.

Then here is queen sheeba herself, Fury. My sassy cat.

The queen at our house is Bailey. She's a 4.5 lb. maltese that thinks our bed and the middle laying sideways are hers.

I don't have a picture of her, but i do have a picture of her 3 week old puppies that i want to keep!

Here's Lennox. She's my big baby. Lennox is a 7 year old boxer and American bulldog mix. She weighs just over 100 pounds and doesn't know that she is a dog. She has her own "couch" - highly recommend the day bed so you can change the covers and not have to get a new couch.

Her sister was an all white boxer, so I have a definite fondness for them. They are often deaf, even though ours wasn't. She just died suddenly about 3 months after her first litter.

I have gotten weddings because the clients connect with her being on the blog and website. One of the first big weddings I got at the Biltmore House, the bride emailed me a link to her boxer gallery on Flickr and then hired me. My Sept 22 bride wants her to come to the wedding to hang out with their dog/ring bearer, but I couldn't imagine having to keep up with her and shoot.

Oohh! What sweet pets--I love dogs! Cats are great too--but I'm definitely a dog person.

we adopted him from the pound last year, and he's amazing... a little crazy, so many quirks... but so fun.


He loves frisbee's and balls... when we get home from being gone he's at the door with his frisbee in his mouth wagging his butt so hard... you'd think he wanted something.

We've got two critters at our house, the first is our little puppy Finesse (sorry, no recent pics...see below)



Things haven't been going too well for her lately, and it might be time to make some hard decisions about her

Her favorite thing is tennis balls, and my daughter perfected taking pictures of her grabbing them. This photo was done for an "out of bounds" challenge a couple of years ago...



The latest addition is the cat. Her name's Shasta and she's a Siberian cat. I'm allergic to cats (and dogs, for that mattter), and normally can't be around them for too long. I react to this cat about the same as to a bath towel...

Yes. This thread makes me smile. We have a beagle, too (her name is Annie,b ut my husband affectionately calls her "The Cow" Here are a few pics, although I took a few more this morning that I might post to demonstrate how absolutely LAZY this dog is.

I have enjoyed seeing all the cute pics of your four-legged children! My baby boy has had a rough couple of weeks consisting of one surgery at his emergency vet in Chattanooga and a second surgery at the University of Tennessee vet school. They say we are on the road to recovery now!!! I can't imagine life without him!!!

I love animals! Cats are just so "unique" not that dogs are not. You have to take the opportunity that cats give you. Reminds me of photographing people. I do believe that it is good practice to shoot your pets. Its all about antisipation, knowing the animal and its personality and then apply it to people.

I did see the pic of Miss Kitty and said the samething when I saw her pic. They do look alike! Maybe they are related

I have a very well photographed tiger, Francesco. He has his own Flickr set, but here are a few of my favorites. I've since acquired Oswald, who is an attention hog and, well, not terribly photogenic at all. (Nicknames, Scabwald, Possum, Dogcat, and Dense Pack). Poor Cesco isn't around as much these days, and I miss his snuggles, and his vicious attacks, too.

Here's our little guy...

Here's one of the 3 cats who let us live here with them. I came out into the kitchen to find Oliver the oldest and largest of the 'kids' on the kitchen counter in the new bowl we just purchased. Of course I had to go grab the camera!

He is about 20 pounds and is bigger than the neighbors dog and he is in a large salad bowl from Southern Living at Home.
