Please Help! Sometimes when I add a new song to show-it they do not play at the normal speed.. they are much slower so I am basically listening to the song in slow motion. This seems to happen when I join more than on song together in final cut. They play normal in itunes but when I import them to show-it they dont.

I've seen the reverse problem (chipmunk songs). That happens when the sampling rate is wrong. Flash players can only handle a couple of sampling rates. MP3 software can handle a much wider variety.

I use an audio conversion program to shrink the mp3 and get an appropriate sampling rate.

Here is your answer to why the speed change: ShowitFast.com and most likely it is because Final Cut is using 48kHz instead of 44.1. You can adjust that setting in the Quicktime export.
