Our dear friend and OSPer Leann Wrightsman had her gear stolen at a wedding and I've been hearing about that happening more and more which is really sad but what's amazing is how all of you came to the rescue!

I think that part of the focus should be on Dustin for starting this charge. My hat is off to him for thinking with his heart.

+1000 to DJ for starting such a great forum.. they say the apple doesnt fall far from the tree and I think his personality and demeanor make this a great place to come. How awesome is it that within minutes of a question or concern that there are all these likeminded people who understand your frustrations or share in your happiness or even agree to disagree and point out how we can do it better. Thats alot in my book! I would really be sad if I couldnt jump on here and check a thread or learn something new or get inspired! So many things have I learned from here...some things like what NOT to do have saved my b_tt! This is worth more than I can say.

Kudos and more kudos to Dustin for making a thought come to life and for all who donated to the cause and to his niece's cause. That is a hero in my book...

Dustin, however this thing ends at least you know that your heart was in the right place and did alot of good. I hope you get all you deserve for stepping up not once but twice. That may or may not play out in cash but in hearts and minds you have certainly manned up!

I do have to say that OSP is the place for the most awesome and whole hearted people! It really sucks when something like camera gear or anything else of the matter gets stolen, but when we all come together as a community it makes it a much better situation out of it all. Thanks and kudos to all that participated and those who are so amazing that help out others in different situations. I cant wait to meet more of you in OSPW2
