I hope this isn't a super cliche shot or anything. But I kinda thought it was cool and wanted to share smile.gif



My dad got an attachment for his telescope that you can hook a camera up to, and we decided to play with it last night.

Wow I didnt know you could get such a detailed picture like that...we have a telescope around here somewhere ....what is this attachment?

Kerri, I don't think this is the website he got it from, but this is the attachment that he has: Celestron Adaptor
It fits right on to the camera like a lens would, it's pretty cool! It was kind of hard to get it focused correctly though.

Lunar eclipse coming your way tomorrow morning on August 28th. I would check your local time to see what that would give you.

I am hoping to get some shots if I can get my bones out of bed that early.

oh oh oh oh oh ......... you know it's a lunar rosa tonight right....... hmmmmm actually I should check who can see it - maybe it's just us in the southern hemisphere/New Zealand timezone.........

1 hour eclipse of the moon tonight ....... get some of that action!!

Thanks for the heads up! I'm back at school with no cool telescope access now though. And very partial to sleep haha.
