what is with her hat?? LOL
(sorry just had to say it)
color and exposure look perfect to me, but not crazy about her kinda looking off, but yet someone else might love that. 2nd is my fave of the two. (still shaking my head at the hat though)

+1 about the hat but other than that Beautiful!
the real Carrie V
Yeah, hat = strange. (And sorta unflattering) There comes a time when you have to be honest with your client and say, "This thing (hat/feather boa/live animal) is gonna take away from your portraits..."
I'd like to see her make some eye contact with the camera for a few of these at least.

Other than that, your light is soft and pretty! Nice subtle, timeless PP!

Welcome to OSP!

Yeah, I know, the hat is funny. It's the hat they get when they have passed their final exams in highschool. So it has to be on the photo... The hat is made of white velvet and the black front piece is shiny plastic. It looks even nicer if there's lots of fingerprints =) Guys will always wear suits in this kind of shoots around here. And actually most of the graduation photos are taken in studio, with suit(usually black), and the hat. They are so boring that I don't even dare to post those. I guess people here are pretty oldfashioned. I remember taking 2 or 3 shoots outside of the studio this season.

So what was the horse graduating from? Pony Club? biggrin.gif

Nice colours though!

Oh...I love the shot and her expression is wonderful!!

Your reds are beautiful as well!!

My dad is from Norway and the last month before they graduate they wear certain color overalls that indicates their major in high school. It is cool to see the different cultures for their graduating students!

I think these are great. The pictures you have posted here and in another thread have such rich color and excellent exposure! Are you from Finland? It is interesting and fun to see what other taditions different countries have!
Thanks for sharing.

Yes, I'm from Finland.
These are taken with 5D and 70-200 f2.8 IS USM, I just love my 5D. I love the color it produces straight out of camera. 5D files doesn't really need any serious ps tweaking afterwards as my 1Ds:s files required. I have used TRA with these.
