As many have - I've lurked, read, laughed, and learned a lot from the OSP'er posts for a while now, but from the sidelines. So I've decided to jump on in as everyone here seems like first-rate people, very friendly, and as someone else mentioned - you all are a bunch of good lookin people.

My name is Enoch Gonzalez - E-WHAT? blink.gif ... was the usual response growing up. It's pronounced E-Knock... however my nieces nicknamed me Knockie- which was fine with me. I'd heard it all and that was kinda cute. I was Born and raised in San Antonio Texas but also lived in Oklahoma and Louisiana. Now living in beautiful Colorado Springs CO.

As DJ would say - you all ROCK and i'm phyched to join in on the fun. biggrin.gif

Oh and on a side note... here are some fun shots we took on our trip up to Pikes Peak yesterday. It was such a fantastic day to play hooky and have a picnic.

Hi, Enoch, and welcome to OSP. Great name (are you prophetic?)

I lived in Denver for 9 years and miss it terribly. Love Colorado Springs, but Denver is my favorite city. I was back recently and didn't want to leave!

Nice Pike's Peak shots. I once climbed Gray's and got very bad altitude sickness, which made me very reluctant to try other 14ers.

Enjoy!!

Welcome! Love these shots... beautiful!!

Hi
Enoch
Thanks Bruce, and actually yes I am - I knew you were going to ask that... tongue.gif
We absolutely love it here and right now we're planning a weekend trip up to Denver to visit some of the museums- heard they're quite lovely- and other sites. Maybe catch a Broncos game - even though I'm a Cowboys fan... (oh that just hurt any chance of me getting friends here...)

We've been hiking a lot lately and can't wait to do Pike in about 2 months. Plan on conquering all of the 14ers here in Co...

That's quite a goal ... very challenging!! Though I do have a few friends that have done all or are working on it. Gotta' be in pretty good condition, as I'm sure you know.

Stay hydrated!!

I may be out that way again in early November. Perhaps we can hook up.
