So, I'm curious
(and procrastinating on this album design--I just can't get motivated about it today)If you enjoy your photography, I'm thinking you've got to have a bit of the creative gene in you... I'm wondering if our fabulous career attracts certain personality types. And what those common strengths and weaknesses might be.
I had taken the Briggs/Myer test a few years ago, and forgotten all about it. But after a conversation earlier today, I decided to take it again. The profile was so accurate it's scary.
What are you? Take the test here...
http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/JTypes1.htm You'll probably have to do a google search for a full profile once you've got your type.
Let us know if you agree with the profile and throw out a few distinquishing characteristics.

Have fun!
I'm an
ENFP An inspirer. I live in a world of possibilities, like people, must live authentically, see tons of potential in many areas of life. But I tend to become bored easily, don't work well in a schedule, and have issues with follow through...

guess that means I should get back to that album design huh?

Your turn.

I'm an ISTP.
I love the Myers Brigg type indicator. My dad used to administer it to business's and then consult with the management on how to best utilize their employees strengths and motivations.
He turned me onto it in 7th grade, and so it has always been a part of my life and is one of my most used "tools" for understanding myself and others.
Definitely one of the keys lenses of how I look at the world. I highly recommend the book "Gifts Differing" by Isabel Briggs Myers.
So glad to see you bring this up and I'm psyched to see what everyone posts up!!

ENFP (AKA The Champion Idealist!!!) Woot woot!
"For Champions, nothing occurs which does not have some deep ethical significance, and this, coupled with their uncanny sense of the motivations of others, gives them a talent for seeing life as an exciting drama, pregnant with possibilities for both good and evil."

I'm with you, Carrie. I've always tested as an INFP. The last time I took it, though, I tied with P and J, and in that case, the tie goes to the P.
It must be noted, though, that for people who test strongly to one side or the other, this can be a great tool. However, for those who score mostly in the middle, it doesn't really mean anything and isn't a good test for them. There are other tests for those types, but they're not as easy to administer, score, take, and aren't as fun.

it's pretty common.

jen - i don't really think it's about strengths or weaknesses - rather a personality spectrum. you may see one 'type' as better than the other, but that would be your perception, not the goal of the test. (does that make sense)
