Hi everyone,

I have a folder full of images prepared (almost) to go off to La-Vie Albums.
Here is my wee problem.

In both LR and PS trying to save the images out at 300dpi results in a folder full of 240dpi files. What am I doing wrong?

Any advice greatly appreciated!!!

Have a great day.

Hugh

Let me just add a little more confusion. I have opened the CD and checked the images in my MacBook Pro, and they are all showing up as 300dpi. Popped the disk back into the MacPro and all images show up as 240dpi. How can this be possible? How can the files on a CD show up differently on 2 machines. Ohhh, my head hurts!!!!!

Can't help you on that last bit, that's just bizarre. But I did find that if I limited # of pixels in any direction on export, I could not get it to export a 300 dpi image, regardless of any other settings. Could that be part of the issue?

right, after a bit of messing around, things are getting (maybe) a little less murky. I went into the MacPro and emptied the cache in Bridge, then set the preferences so that the cache is stored in the folders, and not in the Bridge application folder itself.

Strange, but things seem to be ok now.

Anybody else had this???

Hugh
