WHEN ARE OVERLAYS TOO MUCH?
I was just talking to David Dack Maki, a really creative, amazingly awesome photographer, about creating overlays. He was asking a few questions about them and told me he wanted to add this look to his portfolio. I think it's super cool but sometimes overused and can truly take away from the photograph if not too careful. I like the result but wonder how trendy it is.
I began working on the wedding of Allison & Robert's which will be featured in an upcoming issue of Inside Weddings magazine. We're so excited for them! They are a beautiful couple and we were so honored to photograph their magical day!!!
I created this photo using some free overlays and brushes I found while browsing the internet. Is this too much? Does it detract from the original photograph? What are your thoughts?
