How do I do it? I have this great workflow that I want to share with my friends and I don't know how to save/export the action. I am in the Photoshop CS, btw.

You can only save action sets (the folders that contain the actions). If you have all of your custom actions in one combined set, simply make a new set and place the action(s) you want to save in it. Select the set and then click the little arrow on the top right of the panel (not sure what it is called) and choose "Save Actions". You can then send that .atn file to anyone.
