Full Version: Where is the Keyword line

We all blog, most of us anyway.

We mention other vendors who have worked at a wedding with us. Florists, venues, coordinators. It helps our search ranking, and theirs, but, over time, our name comes up when potential clients Google them.

Some of us participate in Blogrolls and other link exchanges and post our 'friends' websites and links on our blogs. Again over time Goolge's index begins to bring up our name when others are being searched.

Now when you search for some photographers, others come to the top of the list - Organically.

Where is the line? When someone pays money for adwords? Is it just about money?

Without Adwords, there wouldn't be a Google.

Generally, if a client is searching for you by NAME, than they already know you or have heard about you from someone else and are just seeking for more information on you. I would say most clients start their search LOCALLY which is why it's beneficial to make sure that your business is listed locally with Google's business directory, which is actually at the top of the search rankings now. It's easy and its free. I posted the links to sign up for Yahoo and Google HERE.
