Full Version: Can I load another (password) page first?

Hi,

here is the deal.

I just set up a Password page in Flash on our site. I want the user to have to enter a password BEFORE they start the slideshow.

I can't see any option to send the user to a specific URL other than AFTER the slideshow finishes.

Is there any way I can have the user arrive at any page other than the index page in the slideshow folder?

Thanks for any advice on this.

Hugh

What's up Hugh! smile.gif

You'd have to create that page manually and then instead of sending them the link to the folder just send them to the direct link of the .html page you've created. Would that work for you?

I hope you guys are doing great! Come visit SB sometime!

Well hello!!!!

as all my pages are Flash, what I did was reduce my master page to 110 px to show just the logo and menu structure. Then created an html template with 2 frames, my flash banner dropped into the top frame, and the showit code pasted into the bottom. Then I linked to that. It worked a treat and I will re-save the page as I need.

I am sure there is an easier way, but I am still learning this stuff - and the site is a work in progress.

Thanks for the invite to SB - actually, Kristen will be here in Michigan next month. Anyway, thanks again, for everything.
