Hey Everybody, My name is Michelle and I am new here… Wow.. That sounds like something you might hear in an AA meeting =)

I have been trolling your board for a couple of months now and have finally worked up the courage to make a post. Please, don’t get me wrong… I did hesitate to post because I thought you guys were a bunch of Grizzly Adams… I was more or less intimidated!

I am impressed by the energy, creativity, teamwork and faith that you guys possess. It’s amazing!

I live down in Texas. I shoot people! I love shooting people. It doesn’t matter what they are doing… So in other words I shoot just about anything that involves people!

After picking up my first SLR I conned everybody I knew into getting in front of it. After their excitement wore off I looked for other avenues to shoot. The local paper took me in as a stringer and gave me an excuse to put people in front of my camera. I recently started my photography business and have loved every moment since its inception.

I am quite new to this and everyday I learn something new. I look forward to getting to know you guys and learn from your experiences.

Hi Michelle.

Welcome. I was a little worried when you said you were from Texas and loved shooting people, but I kept reading...

Michelle great to have you here. You're really going to love the encouragement from everyone. Post up some pics, we'd love to see some. Also, where are you from? You might have a few OSPers in your area!

LoL Sean! =)

I live roughly 30 minutes from Austin. In a small town named Bastrop.

I have a website that I made myself… www.chelmckay.com I am in the process of working with somebody on taking my website out of the dark ages. (broken links… old images… too many pages… ) One web designer I meet with was pretty harsh about the condition of my website and since our meeting I have been hesitant about showing people my website, (terrible sales techniques in my opinion… Needless to say I went with another guy)

After seeing everybody’s blogs I became a blogger. My blog can be found at http://www.xanga.com/home.aspx?user=ChelMcKay … Now… to only be as diligent as you guys are with updating your blogs!

Have a great day!
Chel
