Hello all I just got a Mac book pro I am also using a 20in ultra sharp Dell Monitor. I would like to get them Calibrated. What should I get to do this? I would like not to spend more then $200.00. Thanks all sf
the dell monitor is going to be a pain to calibrate, or could be, but the macbook pro should be no problem. i use a spyder2pro on all four of my macs in the studio and its niiiiiice!

the eye one is $219. if you're looking to spend under $200, the spyder2pro is the way to go. not only is it easy to use and produces beautiful calibration results, but it's down to around $175 now... it was $219 when I bought it about 3 months ago. just my $0.02

Good point. I just wanted to offer another option.
I mean, what's $20 to you rich photographer people anyway?

I use the spyder 2 Express. It cost me $60 from amazon. If you just want the monitors calibrated, go with the express. The hardware is the same it's just the software that's different.
I calibrated my Dell monitor at work, and it was nearly spot on, the greens were just a teeny teeny bit high. Make sure you do it in a room with color neutral walls. I first calibrated my laptop in my room (green walls and celing) and what a suprise... everything got a green cast to it. This was on a laptop with a glossy lcd so that probably didn't help the sitiuation any either.
