Just wanted to introduce myself as a newbie on the boards. I've been lurking around and finding so much talent and so many helpful things I thought I'd join. I'm a bit of a geek as well as a shutterbug but I'm new to the pro game. I'm taking baby pictures, engagement pictures, and I've done 1 wedding where I've learned SO MUCH!

My calling is to become a photojournalist and I hope to give my life to photographing field missionaries overseas. In the meantime, weddings and people pay for my gadgets! I'll scurry over and post some of my work in the appropriate spots.

Hah! You move quick! Let's see... Yes I have a 20D and I love it. I have a Rebel 2000 that I'm using for a film class I'm taking, which I hope will improve my techniques.

I've never had that many Krispy Kremes EVER! I feel so guilty for even liking them that I just stare at them lovingly. Sad but true.

As for the Deliver Me song, that's Sarah Brightman. I believe that song is also on the Brokedown Palace soundtrack. I noticed you have Rebecca St. James on your site, if you like her you'll also like Sarah Kelly who is one of my favorite artists of all time. I think for payment for the wedding Raquel is going to arrange a meeting.

Haha! You're the first girl that's ever said that!!! I went out with a girl a couple of months ago and then we got together again and as she was leaving she said, "Is it going to be another month before I talk to you again." hehe I'm pathetic!

I just listened to some of Sarah's stuff on iTunes and I love it! ...and I noticed she's playing in CA in a couple of weeks! Cool...I'll see if I can go. Thanks!

Southwest - middle of nowhere! I live near Springfield actually, but I used to live in Kansas City. Let me know if you ever do a photogeek meet up! I love to travel to those to meet new people and take some photos. I even went as far as Australia!

ShutterGeek! We have to connect. I'm in St. Charles (20 min out of St. Louis) I've subscribed to your blog, and I have the feeling that we will shoot together in the future. Our church (and St. Louis in general) has a few concerts yearly that are definately worth traveling to. Last year I saw (but didn't have the chance to shoot) Delirious?. There is also One Day w/ Tomlin and Cornerstone that we could meet up at.

Just Brainstorming here- you don't have to commit to anything . I'm just so excited that there is potential for fun in the future.
