Full Version: Lightroom - Renaming Virtual Copies

In Lightroom, when you create a virtual copy of an image in order to have a couple different variations of a cool image, Lightroom names the files like [filename]-1. [filename]-2, etc.

Is there any way to rename these files? Basically I want to have all the files from a wedding named with the same prefix, and then a sequence number, but I don't want the sequence to get messed up with the -1's an -2's, etc.

I know that you can do this in the export dialog, having Lightroom rename sequentially as it exports, but I want to have the RAW files named sequentially.

Anybody know how to do this?

I've been wondering the same thing! I hope someone chimes in.
