Hi as I stated in my intro I am really new to photography professionally at least. I took these pics last week and I would love to get your opinion. I know I have a ton to learn. All the pictures were actually done with my friends D10, I hopefully will have my camera by the weekend. This is my first time posting pics hopefully it is all done okay.

I love the expression on the faces here. I do wish I would of framed it a bit better. We were actually just hanging out talking after the shoot...my bad I should of been on.

I loved the view from these girls house:

Thanks for letting me share a little bit. Hopefully I will have more worthy pics as time goes on.

I actually think the composition of #1 is nice. I am assuming that is mom in the bkg... Its such a great capture to have his silly face and her reaction. What I do see is that the boy's face is underexposed. I would have metered for his face and let the bkg be a bit overexposed.

Isn't all of Colorado tilted one way or the other? thumbsup.gif

I like them, but the boy's face needs to be brighter in the first one. There's enough there that you could dodge it a bit.

Oh heck yeah CO is tilted but not that much! Thanks Bill smile.gif

Oh thank you Adam I will be trying to dodge the face.

I have no idea why - well researching it I think I know but I gotta practice first, but when I save for web I loose some of my color. gotta work on that.

Thank you everyone for the cc. I know I need it. I really appreciate it! I have to say I was so scared to post, but it was not so bad. I look forward to sharing and learning more smile.gif

of to go tilt that second pic a bit wink.gif

I am not quite sure about this, but I have had this problem also. The problem may be lying in your colorspaces. If your camera is set up to AdobeRGB color space and your computer does the same thing, when you post your images on the web they will display in sRGB (native for web) therefore loose color since the color gamut of AdobeRGB is larger then sRGB. Please correct me if I am wrong.
