Someone mentioned to me one day that they know of a software that you can use when showing pictures to clients on a tv/computer screen or projected, and the software will allow you to show what a specific crop of that image would look like very quickly.
Does anyone know of such a software?
We're getting our new office all set up and can't wait to share pictures of how it all looks!!!

At quick glance I don't know if that software works? Looks more like workflow?
I guess I'm looking for a super basic presentation software that just allows you to click pre-specified crops to show what that would look like.
Right now we're just using Bridge and staring the ones the client likes to narrow them down in front of them... but we can't show what a final crop would be.

This is more than just workflow - it does the presentation stuff too.
I once looked into it myself, but felt it was too much for my needs.
Sorry it wasn't what you were thinking of....

Hey Johnny,
I totally appreciate you pointing that out... and if it does presentation it might be well what I'm looking for... I probably just need to look closer to it.

ProSelect maybe?
ProSelectThat looks way cool!
And Tim - no worries.
I actually think the one above looks better for your needs.

We just use iView Media Pro to show customers the images. We go through and mark their favorites. Then we sort so those are at the top and figure out what they want to order. We can show them the crop easily in the program. It isn't perfect, but it works for us. I am not sure how it would work for projecting.

proselect is the best software out there for what you described!

+1 on that! So easy to get started with, and yet so powerful. And the invoices it prints with thumbnails are great - customers really like to see that the correct images are on their order.

Pro Select ROCKS. The great thing about it is if you are using a projector you can calibrate it to show specific sizes too. Start off by showing them a slideshow of their images at 40x60 or bigger. When they ask to buy an 11x14 print, it looks like a postage stamp. It is a great way to facilitate larger wall portrait sales.
