Drive 600 miles for a portrait shoot w00t.gif Well, only if it is one of your favorite clients that has moved away smile.gif

We recently had a blast in Virginia providing all day coverage for the baptism of a little guy that Amanda has followed since before birth. There were so many cute kids and the scenery was incredible. It ended with a big ol' crab pickin feast.

The Show

There is so much history with this family. The boy's great-great-great-grandfather founded the church where the baptism was held and the family even had their name on a road. It was a great to be a part of such a big day. Did I mention that we love our jobs? smile.gif

Ha! That's exactly what I was going to say. (The portrait shoot part, not the 600 mile part.)

These are great images... I like the last one a lot... makes me feel like I belong at that table somehow. smile.gif

Stunningly beautiful shots Nate and Amanda!!

On a dead Saturday, wish for an OSP get together!!!
turtle nate
KC and Mike - thanks so much

Nick - good idea, mine would be a bit more red smile.gif

Ryan - that is exactly how they made us feel. This was a big family deal but we felt like we belonged. I had never had crab that way. Nothing but a couple sacks of Chesapeake Bay crab and a trough of Bud.

Mike - i think my second choice would be a nap - then a get together

Nate, I love the feel of those shots. There's times when I talk about looking at pictures and feeling like you're there too. It seldom happens but several of those make you feel like you're there. You can smell the food and the air and hear the kids. Love that dude! Nice work.

Thanks Mark. Amanda gets credit for most, if not all of these. I just love to show her off wub.gif

You bring up a thought that came to me the other day. What angle does the human eye see at? Meaning, what lens equivelant gives you a similar angle as the human eyes? Does this angle provide the viewer of the capture the best possible 'entrance' into the picture? Obviously there are a lot of other factors as well. I didn't bother to google it, knowing that OSPers are about as smart as google wink.gif
