We're adding an element to our first meeting with prospective clients.

We are going to matte 11x14 pics in a 16x20 mattes. We would like to store then in a box that will protect them.

The intent is to pull the box out during the interview and pull the prints out one at a time to show the clients.

We've seen some boxes that are rather pricey - we want to protect the pics between client meetings and have a nice presentation when we pull the box out.

Does anyone have suggestions on where to look? the box would need to be about 3" deep to hold what we are going to print and matte.

I'm guessing you're referring to these Printfile ? They aren't cheap but they are quite nice and hold up well. I've been using smaller sized ones for many years. Though I bought most of mine from a local retailer. However I would love to hear other suggestions as well... anyone?

These are on track for what we are seeking. The 16x20 clamshell only has a max depth of 2"so that may not work, but it's a great start.

Anyone else?

The Century boxes are great. You can see them in person at good art supply stores like Pearl Paint.

I love just about everything I get from Light Impressions... not always cheap, but good stuff.

I have been thinking about doing the same and I've decided to go with the Cypress Albums presentation box. I think it's worth the investment as it will also be a product sample and something the client may want to purchase. I think it's a great gift for parents who don't want an album necessarily.

+1 for Cypress, Ive used them a few times and have always been really happy with them. They're sweet because they're different, not just 'a box.'

I have a source for something similar to Cypress, but with a wider variety of fabric choices. If you're interested, PM me, and I'll send you some info. wink.gif

Edited to add: I forgot to mention that custom sizes are available, and the prices are right in line with Cypress.
