Thought I'd share some from my latest engagement session. This was in La Jolla, CA. Kinda out of my area, but it was well worth the drive to shoot these two.

Here's one and the rest on the blog:

Jan,

These shots are amazing... I checked out your blog and it is hard to find a favorite. The colors are beautiful and the compositions are as well. She is gorgeous and I am sure she will make a beautiful bride.

Very Nice.

Those are sweeet!! smile.gif

I have a question for you... Are you using lighting other than sunlight and flash? I love that bench shot and was wondering how you got it?? smile.gif

Wow, thank you guys so much. She IS a gorgeous girl and they made it fun.

Sarah, the lighting was all available sunlight for all the shots. The sky was patchy with clouds and the sun was peeking out a little. I'm not too good at the flash stuff yet, so those are probably still around the corner smile.gif The bench shots were a little popped out as I played with the curves to get the look that I wanted.

Love La Jolla and am well familar with it... This shot (along with the ones on your blog) are fabulous! You made La Jolla look even more gorgeous. I, in particular, just absolutely love the photo you posted above. Great job and keep shooting!

Great shots. At first glance for the one shot walking down the street I thought it'd be better without the people next to them but then I really looked and saw how he was looking at the older couple walking past them. That was great! Did you set that up or was that just an "it happened and I shot it" moment? Either way it's great. One of those shots that just makes you go hmmm smile.gif

Haha! Thanks for noticing...I was hoping some people would get it!

It was totally NOT set up. I just wanted some shots of them walking and I shot about 8 frames of this scene. I just noticed it during the editing process and this was the one to keep, for me at least.
