Hello
I have been poking around for a few days figuring everything out.
I guess I'm finally to the point where I should introduce myself.
I really don't like to talk about myself but here goes.
My name is KIM I live in Michigan. I have been a photographer for about 23 years. I used to shoot on my own but then joined a studio about 10 years ago. It was more of a partnership of sorts.
Things changed there and I have put in notice and decided to head off on my own again.
So now I have the task of rebuilding a portfolio of images I can freely use. I have also launched a post editing and photoshop business via the web. I am not particularly looking forward to living in a refrigerator box so cross your fingers for me.
I am an X pictager and recognize a few of you

Hi Kim,

Welcome! And good for you for taking the plunge and heading back out on your own...a few years ago, I decided to leave the aspect of the photography business in which I was immersed and had nothing to go to....scary! But it's all for the best as it gave me the freedom to explore new directions, and without that opportunity, I would have never started shooting weddings...and I'm so glad I did!

Forums like this one are great resources! I wish I had discovered them as early on as you have.

as for the above comment very funny thats a shot of a model I did not me. Ya I would have had to start with a fisher price camera in diapers to still look like that LOL
Believe it or not I don't have a good photo of myself I rarely jump in front of my own camera
