Friend of mine posted this on another forum, if you can help please reply here with your contact information and I'll pass it on to her. Thanks!!

"I just received this email from a client of mine, who also belongs to my church. She is looking for a photographer to help them remember their 10month old dd, diagnosed with a genetic disorder. I would help, but it's far from me. (and I may if they end up coming to Seattle). Here is her email. Please let me know if you think you might be able to help.

I have a niece in the Tri-Cities whose 10 month old daughter has just been diagnosed with a fatal genetic disorder. I would like to donate a portrait session to my niece and her husband, so they can have some happy, wonderful photos of Ava before she departs. Do you know of any really excellent (preferably Christian) portrait photographers in Eastern Washington? You would be perfect, but they are there and you are here and I don't think they should be making any big trips right now (but if they do take her to Children's Hospital that would be perfect).

I just received the news today and am still reeling, but want to make some progress on this project before the baby declines. If you have any ideas, just let me know. And thanks!!

Thanks so much..."

Melody, I'm praying for the girl and the entire family. It's no coincidence that I recently learned about about an organization by photographer Sandy Puc. Here is that site:

Please keep us posted or contact me if you need any more information.

Try Lynette Johnson's non profit "Soulumination". She is based out of Seattle, but I believe they have photographers every where. She would know what to do for sure. This type of photography is was Soulumination is all about.

I live in so-cal but I will be in the area during one week in august. the 20-23 to be exact. If there is some way to help out during that time, I would love to. If you don't find anything by then please contact me and I will fit it into my little vacation up north.

Good luck with your search.

Both Soulumination and Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep are great organizations. If you aren't able to schedule something with either of those organizations, I'd be happy to do it myself when they travel over to the Seattle area.

Thanks guys! I passed all this information on to my friend, hopefully she'll find someone who can help!

Thanks!

Melody,

Wow - I'm scared to write this, but I live in the Tri-Cities. I am a Christian, and I am willing to donate. I'm scared because I'm not sure how I'd hold up - that's the only reason I haven't joined NILMDTS, which does have one photographer listed in the Tri-Cities. I'm a pretty emotional person. I remember Adam saying before that it hits him usually while he's editing. I'm scared I'd get all choked up during the shoot. I would be honored, though.

If your friend wants to check out my work, my website and blog are below - my blog has my newest and best work though - updating my website is on my project list during the next two weeks.

My email is aaron@aaronpelly.com and my phone # is 509-366-8066

I'm praying for the baby, and especially for the parents.
