With the uber talent of a makeup artist I know, we offer TTD and take many out of water shots before the final dunk . I was a little unsure how these would be received because they aren't all "trashed" shots, but then I saw Kadie's post and got brave. Now I"m skeered.

I really love your Hitched and Haut term - "trashing the dress" has sometimes conjured up looks like its a dirty word, which is sad because the images created are gorgeous. I may have to borrow your H&H - immitation is the sincerest form of flattery right?

So is the idea to a seperate bridal session before or after the wedding where you can just focus on her and do a bit more of an artsy/high fashion shoot? I think your shots and Kadie's are simply fantastic!!! How fun would that be to get your hands on a bride without all the time crunch issues?? Yeah

In my wee bit of experience I have yet to meet a bride who is willing to sit on dirty surfaces during a pre-wedding session ..there is only so much you can do when you know deep down you worry about wrecking her dress before the I do's! Maybe one day I'll book a super carefree client, but until then this is my way of living out these arsty shoots. No time crunch is AWESOME and the ladies never seem to tire. Its great!
