From what everyone tells me 12 weeks is the turning point - I'm ready! Phoebe was 12 weeks on Sunday - she is paying us back for all our hard work with lots of smiles.

I can defnintely say she is the hardest "workflow" I've needed to figure out. The last three months have been the hardest/greatest days of my life. Thanks to all the Dads in OSP land who have been such a big help!

Her Mom has been feeding her well! Here's a few pictures we took today....There's always more on Phoebe's blog if anyone wants to see.





Liz and I are just starting to enjoy the summer days - only for her to go back to work full time in a few weeks. That's gonna be when the fun starts for me!

Oh man Ali! She's like 15 pounds! I know - she is like in the 98th percentile for her weight, but she's also long too.

So was Lillie for the first two years and the doctor finally put her on a DIET! LOL! I tell you it gets easier. I think the first 3 months are always the hardest for everyone, IMO.

I love, love, love chunky babies My guys were super fat too. And BF babies cannot be overweight. I have one friend whose baby was so fat he had cankles (ankles hidden by calves). Once he started moving he slimmed right down.

She's beautiful.

What's with all this talk about babies and diets... come on!!

The doctor put my daughter on a diet at 2. The main reason was because not just she was in the higher percentile but because that percentile kept climbing every checkup. The diet only included that she drink only water and one serving of milk a day. No juice, no soda, nothing but water and some milk. Since then she has only gained 5 pounds in 8 months!

I guess you really wouldn't understand unless you my little monster! She eats and drinks around the clock and she was like that the day she came out. Oh, I have stories.

I was once a member of the fat baby club myself (born at almost 10 lbs) and my only weight loss plan was learning how to walk - apparently worked well!

Oh wow!! I missed this post so i'm catching up a little late.

she's grown so much since I saw her last month! She really is beautiful!!

Okay gotta post -- my little (well actually big) Cameron is about or over the 15lb mark and he is a little over 2 months (ok remember he started at 10 lbs). They do slim down, and BF is so much better and I swear thats where they get their chunk from. My last daughter was 9lbs at birth and she slimmed right down when she got mobile. It is so cute when they are little. I love pinching their little fat rolls on their teeny legs! She is so freaking cute! You know our son was off the charts on weight his first 8 months or so then he started to move...and drop it did now he is down in the 25th %ile so no worries she is just too cute!
