I know there is software on the market that will transfer DVD's to your ipod in mp4 format. Do any of you guys use this? Do you have a particular brand of software that you like or can suggest for this? It needs to be for Windows.

We wold like to be able to back-up our DVDs to the ipod so we can let the kids watch movies in the car!

This is what I use, Cucusoft Ipod video converter software. Search on google. Most will give you a trial sample, so there will be logos across the screen, until you purchase the software. Most run around$30. I also will convert my movies, if I am going on a trip with the family.

This is the one I use - PQ DVD. I started putting all my Photovision DVDs that I never have time to watch on my iPod and now whenever I'm on the metro (subway) or on a plane I watch a segment or 2. Learning while traveling!
