Sunday session for a friend and his family. He's deploying, extremely short notice, to Iraq to be a flight instructor. He'll be leaving in less than a week. Here are a few from the evening.

We were at the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows, in Belleville, IL.

If you have time, please say a small prayer for his safe return and for his family. We'll be helping them out while he's gone.

They just smelled the flowers. It wasn't staged, lol. 70-200 and 85 1.2. Some may have been with a 24-70 as well. I don't use the 85 1.2 much even though it's such a cool lens.

cheers,
michael

Beautiful. Adorable little girls...and you did a fantastic job capturing their beauty.

Beautiful photos, and I love that they were all wearing the same outfits! It's sad to hear that he's leaving for Iraq with such short notice and leaving those two beautiful children behind.

Greetings from Belleville Ontario Canada!

Absolutely sharp!!! I just finished a shoot with the 70-200 and I'm not as happy as I would be if they looked like yours sad.gif

Beautiful shots indeed. Angels in the truest sense of the word. And I love the curls on the little one...

Thanks guys! The 70-200 is indispensable! So much so that we're thinking seriously of getting a second one for when we both want to use it and for backup. I'd be lost without that lens.
