We primarily use a MacBook Pro and a MacPro and a G5. In the studio we have got iCal synched with all the computers as well as the address book. We wanted to know what everyone's workflow was with emails as far as keeping the computers synched. We have multiple folders where emails are assigned, but from a synching standpoint what's the best way to keep my MacPro and my Macbook Pro synched through .mac? And on top of that I have this iPhone and am not sure how I want to incorporate everything? Any suggestions?

Charles, one of the awful truths of .mac is the email "sync." Basically it just syncs the mailbox settings, rules, etc ... NOT email.

The only way I know of to have email kind of sync is to set up IMAP, which is basically where the email all lives on the server and is managed on that side. The only problem is that your mailbox can get huge and most hosts don't like that.

The iPhone is a good way to check your emails I guess. If you had rules set up to send messages to a certain folder then the iPhone should act similarly...

Good luck!
