I am starting to shoot interiors, mostly kitchens and bathrooms and am having an issue lighting the under cabinet areas. I would need small but powerful lights that are on battery packs that i can make really soft. I have attached an image of a typical kitchen so you can see what i have to work with. The appliances are usually stainless steel so lights could show up in them. I have 2 Dyna-lite monolit kits- the one pack /two heads system. But i just can't get them to do what i need...
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

For this shot the lights over the sink don't seem to be on and if the range hood had a light it may be useful as well. In other areas some decorative pillar type candles will add character and more light.
