I am working on changing things up a bit with my print orders. I wanted to know if you guys have your orders from WHCC sent directly to your customer or if you have them sent to you. Thanks so much!

Personally I have them sent to me so I can make sure everything is perfect before sending them to the customer. I have had a couple of times that I had to have reprints made (one WHCC mistake, one my mistake). And the customer never knew smile.gif

Yes.

Look on their site for a version of ROES call Print Fulfillment. It works just like the regular ROES but has a limited catalog. Drop shipping is flat fee of $5. I have been kindly pestering them to offer an upgrade to their drop shipment packaging. I think the more who ask for it, the sooner it will happen.

I do both. I have large orders (like 4x6 wedding proofs) sent to me. When I get orders online from a wedding gallery, I use WHCC's print fullfilment service and love it! I had one order sent to a friend's house so I could see how they package it. They don't put their name on anything that ships with the order. The print fullfillment method also does not have the $12 minimum for ordering which is nice when I get some relative of a B&G who orders one 4x6 print. smile.gif

Small, wimpy orders from wedding galleries get dropped shipped from WHCC, it costs too much time and money for me to package a couple of 4x6's. Anything bigger gets sent to me and specially packaged.

Stacy,

They are a great company. Product and customer service are superior. But I received one order that contained an 11x14 of an older women, when it should have contained an 11x14 of my engaged couple. The bride was stressed enough about everything else going on -- imagine if she got this in the mail a few days before her wedding (where it was supposed to be displayed).

WHCC made it right. They did a redo, and got it to me the next morning!

But I was in control of the product before the bride was. When the photos come to me first, that's my quality control. I want to know what the final rendering of my images look & feel like.

Smaller orders for 4x6s, etc. are going to be different of course, but I don't print those with WHCC anyway.

but if WHCC ships to your customer, does that mean your customer gets the blow pops??

I really can't have that happen. blink.gif

no, they get a box with their prints. WHCC may randomly throw blow pops in orders, but they aren't stupid... they know which orders are PF and which ones come to us.

print fulfillment rocks... i'm with shelby on the "small wimpy order" rule. otherwise, everything comes to me and gets checked and re-packaged before going to the client.

Hey Meeks - I think that Neal was just being silly. smile.gif I actually would love it if they sent my clients a blow pop! I don't know why I didn't think of it first!

Thanks for all the great advice, guys - this has been so helpful! Blessings to you all!
